The scene is represented in a geometric composition to illustrate a sunset contained inside a simple circle. The upper half represents the sky in a gradient purple aura as it loses its light blue tone to change into a darker one while going over these richer and warmer colours. The bottom half of the circle captures the deep blue of the ocean only changing its colour when the sun touches the horizon.
The yellow sun that sits above the water is embroidered on the canvas to give texture and make it stand out from the rest of the painting, giving it a central stage as the sun is the reason for all of these colour changes.

Since I was younger, I've always had a passion for creation. Architecture models in real estate storefronts would catch my eye, and I could spend hours looking at them, admiring every single most tiny detail. The enjoyment of the perfection of rigorous drawings and models took me to a degree in Architecture, where I fully understood my passion lay in creating these miniature versions of buildings and not in the profession itself.
Despite my passion, I never saw myself as an artist. I've friends that are far more gifted than I am at drawing, and so, being an artist wasn't an option for a long time. In the last couple of years, I decided to step away from that idea and see myself differently. I love creating something out of simple materials, using my hands to bring to life my vision of the world, of beauty.
In that sense, I'm a new artist trying to find myself in the art, discovering what and how I like to create, and building my own path as I go.
