Après l'obtention de ses diplômes, il part en Italie et travaille au côté du grand maitre Giorgio Di Chirico , ce qui lui permettra de s'affirmer et de s'assumer pleinement en tant qu'artiste.
Il inaugure la télévision en couleurs et peint en direct une grande fresque laissant les spectateurs ébahit devant la prouesse technologique qui avait lieu devant leurs yeux.
Il fit scandale lors de son exposition au Pavillon Baltard, interdite au moins de 18 ans, qui réunissait 775 œuvres et qui fut intitulée "Geste Blanc". La police ("La Brigade Mondaine") saisit ses œuvres et l'inculpe pour "atteinte aux bonnes mœurs". Deux expositions, l'une en 1972 puis en 1975 à l'espace Cardin ont relaté son travail d'observation à l'hôpital Saint-Anne.
