Iman Toufaily is a Lebanese artist with an MA in Plastic Arts. She is always researching new ways in expressing her experience among the current dramatic changes in the world. Through “COVID” and “CORONA”, her most recent works, she reveals a state of nervousness, anxiety and tension due to having a family member working as a nurse amid the covid 19 crisis. In her body of work, Iman expresses vividly her desire to create an abstract space that engulfs a completely different reality.
Iman has been part of many prominent collective exhibitions. The latest exhibition that Iman has participated in is a collective exhibition in Hamra, Beirut titled “Parallel Realms”. In this exhibition Iman had a full room to showcase a new series called “system”.
