What mechanisms, suffered or nourished, influence our denial?

The research carried out by Hu/Lie allowed him to understand certain issues facing humanity and the environment.
A predominant question obsesses his work:
Why don't we change our way of acting, of consuming, of living when the causes of the current disruptions, and especially their harmful consequences, are a consensus in the scientific world?
Today, more than 37% of the population believes either that climate change is not linked to human activity, or that it simply does not exist.
Fear, ideological or economic posture, manipulation, selfishness... there are many reasons, conscious or not, which can lead us to adopt a form of skepticism towards these realities.
Through this series, Hu/Lie first takes a critical look at his own practices and the part of denial that has taken root in him, as in each of us.
Hu/Lie draws inspiration from the multiple denial techniques used by climate skeptics, including “Cherry picking”, to create works where the duality of our inner thoughts emerges through contrasts of colors, shapes and materials.
