Hassan Laamirat is a contemporary Moroccan sculptor. He mostly works with recycled metal parts that were found in Marrakech's scrap metal neighborhood. He employs pinions, chains, tool keys, locks, bearings, springs, bolts and nuts, ventilation grates, spark plugs, and even shock absorbers, tank parts, and gas cylinders, which are all mechanical parts of bicycles, motorbikes, cars, and ancient tools.
