Edmond Gjikopulli (born in 1967, Vlora, Albania), lives and works in Tirana.  In 1986, he was graduated at the High School “Jordan Misja”, Tirana and in 1990, he was graduated at the Academy of Fine Arts, Tirana.

Edmond Gjikopulli was a professor at the High School “Jordan Misja”, Tirana From 1991-1998. From 1998 to 2001 he worked in Athens as artist. Now he is a Pedagogue in the University of Arts at the Painting atelier, who handles the theory and practice of this traditional medium but, he also is close to a interdisciplinary nature of the materials and techniques.

He has exhibited in Warsaw, Athens, Firenze, Prishtina, Budensdorf, Thessaloniki, London etc. In 2009, Edmond Gjikopulli presented his personal exhibition “Synopsis 2003 – 2008”, at Zeta Gallery, Tirana. And in 2014 his second exhibition "Juxtaposition/Back to the museum of Gods" at Zeta and FAB Gallery, Tirana.

In 2011, he received the title Associated Professor at the University of Arts. And, one year later till now he is the Head of Painting Department at the University of Arts, Tirana.
