Sono nato nel 1969 in Italia a Verona, città dove tutt’ora vivo e lavoro.

Ho avuto una formazione tecnica completata con una laurea in Architettura.

Alcune delle opere che propongo sono una critica al mondo ed alla società che abbiamo costruito.

Mi riferisco in particolare alle opere “Fragile” come biasimo a certe Istituzioni scollate dai loro concittadini, ad “AtomicFlowers” in cui l’impiego del nucleare ci viene presentato come una specie di omaggio floreale all’umanità, ai lavori intitolati “Volume” e “Struttura” mediante i quali mi domando se non viviamo in un mondo di cartone tanto studiato, progettato e complicato quanto effimero.

“Feticci” e “Friend” sono piccoli amuleti e piccoli amici a cui rivolgersi per ottenere conforto dalle difficoltà della vita moderna.

Altre opere quali “Lovers” esprimono semplicemente una speranza nel futuro dell’umanità.

 

Nel romanzo “Immortalità” di Milan Kundera uno dei personaggi si chiede e poi commenta:

“…che significa in realtà essere utili? La somma dell’utilità di tutta la gente di tutti i tempi dà come risultato esattamente il mondo così com’è oggi. Da ciò deriva: non c’è niente di più morale che essere inutili”.

Ecco, mi piace pensare che i lavori che presento, anche se probabilmente inutili, abbiano una loro morale.
