. Мыс Ылико (ненецкая сказка)
У одного богатыря была красавица жена. Об этом узнал другой богатырь — злой Ылико и решил похитить её. Ылико выждал, когда богатырь ушёл на охоту, пришёл в его чум, схватил красавицу и унёс.
Чум Ылико стоял далеко на мысе. А где был этот мыс? Богатырь не знал, поэтому он и не мог найти свою жену.
Тяжело было красавице в плену у страшного Ылико. Она никак не могла забыть своего любимого мужа и тосковала о нём. Каждый день, как только злой богатырь уходил на охоту, она выходила из чума, вставала лицом к родной стороне и начинала плакать. Плакала так долго и так сильно, что на том месте, где падали слёзы, образовались два огромных озера.
Богатыря того нет, красавицы — тоже, и Ылико нет нигде. Только на память людям остался на реке Оби мыс Ылико, да на вершине его, где грустила красавица, — два озера слёз.

32. Два брата (ненецкая сказка)
На правом берегу Оби жили два брата. Оба они были богатырями. Летом братья ловили рыбу, а зимой охотились.
Однажды осенью у богатырей не оказалось дров. В чуме стало холодно, и не на чём было сварить пищу.
Пришлось за дровами ехать за реку, где рос большой лес и стояла остроконечная сопка.
Один из братьев сел в лодку и переехал Обь. Выйдя на берег, он заметил, что забыл в чуме топор. А без топора дров не нарубишь. Хотел было возвращаться, но вдруг ударил сильный ветер и так раскачал реку, что плыть было нельзя.
Как быть?
Поднялся богатырь на вершину голой сопки и закричал:
— Брат! Я забыл взять топор! Дай его мне.
Тот услышал его крик, вышел из чума, взял топор, размахнулся и так швырнул, что он перелетел через Обь, ударился лезвием в вершину сопки и разрубил её пополам.
С той поры и стоят на том месте две остроконечные сопки вместо одной.
Вот какие были богатыри!
