This work was written under the impression of a trip to Venice. In Venice, I was struck by the extraordinary depth and power of color.As well as the whimsicality and subtle gafics of the sinuous lines of its architecture.In this work, I also tried to understand the color and plastic interaction of an object in space.

Galya Didur is a contemporary award-winning Russian painter. She works in a figurative abstract style. Galya Didur was born in 1961, in Ukraine, where she graduated from the Kharkov Art Academy (Monumental Decorative Painting). Her artworks were exhibited all around the world, including in the Museum of Russian Art (Jersey City, USA), and may be found in the private collections in the USA, Canada, Israel, France, Switzerland, Germany, Russia. She lives and works in Israel.
