Florence G. was born in Paris. She draws and paints from an early age. Being admitted to the prestigious School of Arts Appliqués de Paris at the age of 19, she graduated in 1984 (National School of Applied Arts and Crafts ENS-AAMA). She worked in different by Parisian advertising agencies, as a graphic designer and art director, she changed job and became a teacher. Contact with children, learning, sharing, transmission give him a fresh eye and creative freedom. She resumes the path of painting with the course of Kamen Popov Studio which encourages her to multiply the discoveries of techniques, materials and inspirations. In fact, she takes up what she had learned in the Arts Appliqués Applied Arts, but there with a real detachment, a step back that will allow her more freedom, more emotion.

Today everything that catches her eye will one day be on the canvas, One day, it's rue Cler, the play of lights from glasses on a bistro table. Boulevard St Germain, the transparency and reflections of an antiques shop window. Or in New York, the bustling street, far below. "What I miss in this memory on the canvas, the muffled sound of taxis, the movement of taillights, the flashing of windows and signs," she says. But the damp cold of the birch forest is that of a morning in a forest near her home. And a pond in Vietnam, rustles with hungry rubbings of colored koi. Memories and emotions guide her creations, without them responding to an order or a pre-established sequence. Her available works can be found on his virtual gallery.
