British artist Fisher's works are vibrant and explore the power of energy in the midst of a transient and politicized world. Fisher works with time, light, color and form, her images questioning the meaning of reality and man's quest for freedom. Fisher works primarily in documentary photography, with a focus on street scenes, nature subjects, and found objects. Largely self-taught, she has taken classes at International Center for Photography and at the Art Students League. Fisher's work has been featured in group exhibitions at Northern Manhattan Arts Alliance and at Local Project in Long Island City. She holds a BA from Yale University and an MBA from the Wharton School. An activist in the areas of forest and shoreline restoration and food insecurity, Sally is a member of Manhattan Community Board 12, co-founder of Friends of Inwood Hill Park, and a founding member of the Washington Heights/Inwood Food Council.
