Felice Mauro Battiston, born in Basel on August 21, 1969, lives with his beloved wife in Reinach BL. Already in his youth, which he spent in Italy, he often sought refuge in painting. This was and is his elixir of life for him. Felice Mauro Battiston is an electrical engineer and doctor of physics and has been in the profession for decades. In his spare time, he cultivated his hobby of painting and was inspired by artists of various styles. For health reasons he had to give up his job. Since then he has been able to devote his time to his great passion again. For him, painting and immersing in colors and forms are transcendence, timelessness and flow. He is interested in the play between almost photorealistic painting and atmospheric moods.
