Federico Pinto Schmid nasce il 06/05/1988 ad Orbetello, un piccolo paese nella Maremma Toscana. Trascorre la sua infanzia tra Porto Ercole, luogo dove è cresciuto, e la Germania, la terra di suo padre, da cui ha ereditato la passione per l’arte.
L’amore per le forme e i colori risiede da sempre in lui, ma è nel 2017 che riesce a dedicare la sua vita a questo. L’inizio della sua carriera artistica, nonostante abbia basi sin dalla sua infanzia, trova fondamenta durante il suo soggiorno a Zurigo, in Svizzera, luogo dove ha iniziato a concentrarsi solo sull’arte.
I suoi dipinti sono caratterizzati dalla predominanza dell’utilizzo del colore e delle forme, in unione tra loro, così da creare incastri armonici e strutturati.
La sua collezione può essere suddivisa in due serie principali: “Netti” e “Materia”, che esprimono la sua personalità. Mentre nella prima vi è la predominanza dell’ordine e del colore, la seconda è definibile come una pittura “di getto”. L’ambivalenza tra le due modalità è guidata dal suo spirito e dalla sua visione del mondo, traendo ispirazione dalla natura come sorgente di informazioni e di sensazioni.
