Emilio Mortini , (born August 4, 1972, Neuilly sur Seine, France.—is a French italian sculptor who was a leading exponent of contemporary art. During his carreer he received widespread publicity and serious recognition for his radical way of sculpting, he used to create his major works.
The artist took inspiration from pop culture, everyday objects, popular things. Emilio Mortini soon developed new sculptures, all symbols of art, power and passion. The result: electrifying works of art, that would be seen all around the world.
In 1996 a very rich art collector called Allan Stone asked him to make a sculpture for him. Emilio Mortini was so excited and Mr Stone was very pleased with the sculpture and he invited him to have an exhibition at his gallery. Emilio Mortini utilized unique style of sculpting and painting.
His style began to shift around the early 1990s when he began to sculpt almost exclusively with bronze, which was reminiscent of his early imagery. Emilio created his last series of works in 1995, including sculpture such as “The Gentleman” and “Invisible Man” , representing a pant.
Emilio Mortini enjoye considerable fame and notoriety. He is regarding as a mostly reclusive artist.
In france, he organised exhibition at the famous gallery of Marwan Hoss, near Place Vendome. Emilio's work is expressive and emotive and give subtle nods to the artwork of Sculpture.
