The diptych "Corgi in Summer" was inspired by David Hockney's pool paintings and our cheerful corgi Richard. I wanted to create a bright work that would cause smiles and a good mood. The diptych "Corgi in Summer" was inspired by David Hockney's pool paintings and our cheerful corgi Richard. I wanted to create a bright work that would cause smiles and a good mood. First Richard appeared on a yellow inflatable mattress, then I realized that he needed company. So the neighbor's corgi Tosya joined Richard. Two paintings form a single composition, they can be placed side by side or at a distance. The size of each painting is 30 * 40 centimeters.
