Cette sphéra creuse a été réalisée entièrement à la main ici en France. Sa matière est du gré façonné main et cuit au four à la température de 1200°.
Toute la surface est peinte avec de l'acrylique de haute qualité.
Lorsque j'ai peint cet objet, j'avais un sujet en tête. J'imaginais la façon de créer une immense armure[...]

Lorsque j'ai peint cet objet, j'avais un sujet en tête. J'imaginais la façon de créer une immense armure pour la planète Terre. Une manière de la protéger des rayons solaires qui peu à peu deviendront insupportables aux êtres vivants. En 2050, la température deviendra difficilement supportable en Europe.
C'est à la suite d'un rêve mouvementé durant l'été 2019, que j'ai trouvé ce sujet: imaginer une immense protection pour la terre. Une armure qui masquerait et qui la préserverait des attaques cosmiques, comme les météorites par exemple.
J'ai donc laissé filer mon imagination, peu à peu en songeant au "Land art " je trouvais mon sujet, que je vous livre ici.
En complément, il faut savoir que cet artefact, je le commande auprès d'une femme artisan .Elle me demande en moyenne presque trois mois de délais pour une pièce. De mon côté j'ai mis plus de six mois pour la peindre. Autant dire qu'heureusement je ne suis pas payé à l'heure...
Je le crois que cette "sphéra" tiendra bien sa place dans une ligne de décors aux accents minimalistes ( enfin comme je suis peintre et non décorateur alors cet avis n'est que le mien)
Si vous résidez dans un rayon de 150 km autour de Vernon, je viendrais vous livrer en personne "Sphéra 362 l'armure".
Cette réalisation est unique comme une toile peinte signée comme tel.

Dominique Desag is a contemporary award-winning French artist. In his pictorial work, Desag strives to reproduce the power relationships between the colors that are born and the forms that welcome them. Moreover, by collecting these alchemies, the painter's attitude is to produce varied responses on the canvas, without forgetting to create aesthetic and colorful creations.
As material and medium, Desag uses acrylic, sometimes oil or pigments. He likes to work on canvas frames in square formats, ranging from 20x20 cm to 120x120 cm. Some works are carried out on wooden panels. He is also very fond of painting on paper.
Dominique Desag was born in 1957, in France. He is a Member of the Taylor Foundation.
