The famous calligrapher and painter Mr. Yang Dewen was born in Chongqing in 1947. He is currently a member of the Chinese Calligraphers and Painters Association, a member of the Chinese Excalibur Association, and a member of the International American Federation. Member of Chengdu Artists Association, president of Southwest Painting and Calligraphy Academy, and national first-class artist.

Mr. Dewen has been fond of calligraphy and painting since he was a child. He strives to be rigorous in painting, combine scenery with landscape, and have both hardness and softness. He is best at painting lotuses. The lotus in the painting has both spirit and form, is vivid and natural, and combines work and writing, showing the unique charm and perfection of the lotus, reflecting the organic combination of art and nature, and has a strong artistic appeal. The Four Gentlemen of Plum, Orchid, Bamboo and Chrysanthemum he painted are all in a classic style, and every branch and leaf shows the artist's profound skills and artistic accomplishment. The painting has won a gold medal at the Western Art Expo and has been collected by enthusiasts from many countries around the world.
