DAVID SEDRAKYAN, Assistant professor of Yerevan Academy
of Fine Arts, artist and movie maker is a talented painter and
decorator, skillful and unique in his art word. He is a member of
the Union of Artists of Armenia since 1983. He has participated
in a great variety of local and international exhibitions, was
awarded for the best painting and for the best technique. His
paintings are a part of a permanent collection in Armenian
National Art Gallery, the Museum of Modern Arts and National
Funds of Ministry of Culture of Armenia.
In addition to the painting David served as Art Director and
designer for number of Armenian and foreign films. The
“Labyrinth” (1995) was a nominee of Berlin Foreign Film
Festival and was awarded as a “Public’s Favorite” Grand Prize.
