The history about creation of the Galatea sculpture is told in the ancient Greek myth "Pygmalion and Galatea".

“One day, Pygmalion carved the statue of a woman of unparalleled beauty. She looked so gentle and divine that he could not take his eyes off the statue. He named the figurine, Galatea, meaning "she who is white like milk". Pygmalion was obsessed and madly in love with his creation.

On the day of the festival, Pygmalion prayed to goddess Aphrodite with all his heart and soul, beseeching the goddess that she turns his sculpture into a real woman. Aphrodite found that Galatea looked like her in beauty and perfection, so, satisfied, she granted Pygmalion his wish.

Upon returning home the master-sculptor went straight to Galatea, full of hope. At first, he noticed a flush on the cheeks of the ivory sculpture. Unable to restrain himself, he held Galatea in his arms and kept her strongly. What had been cold ivory turned soft and warm and Pygmalion stood back in amazement as his beloved figurine came into life, smiling at him and speaking words of admiration for her creator.

Their love blossomed over the days and before long, wedding vows were exchanged between the two lovers with Aphrodite blessing them with happiness and prosperity. The happy couple had a son, Paphos, who later founded the city of Paphos in Cyprus”

This myth tells us about the creator's strongest love to his creation.
And this is the thing which inspired me to create the Galatea vase collection.

The Galatea vase is the incarnate of beauty, femininity, love, which will always remind you of the art of that time.

This decor element will always inspire you to do great things.

Galatea can be used not only as a flower vase. Galatea is an universal and self-sufficient decorative element.

You can use it as a flower vase, or just art object your interior.
It will look great in the bedroom, in the living room or even in the bathroom, because it radiates an unreal energy of love and peace.

Galatea vase will fit any interior!

The history of the creation of the Galatea sculpture is presented in ancient Greek myths as a great love story to women and their beauty. What could be more beautiful and inspiring than love?

Galatea vase is a 100% accurate reproduction of a Galatea sculpture created by the famous french sculptor Laurent-Honoré Marqueste.

How was it possible to make 100% reproduction of antique sculpture?

Answer is very simple and complicated in once.
Our scientific technologies has made a big leap in progress and now we are using 3D techonologies as a basis to make these vases a 100% reproduction.

It's some kind of a miracle that nowadays we can scan and produce copy of almost all objects! But there still was a lot of work to make this not only just a copy, but a work of art too!

But it's only one part!

After that there was hours of hand work as I use unique innovative material, which imitates natural stone of any kind, so any item is unique! By the way this material is also eco-friendly as well as good for using this art-objects as vases!

Here you can pick a part of ancient culture directly to your home!

Galatea vase is not just a vase, this is an age-old love story carried through the years and forever remaining in your home to inspire you.

Everyone who has ever seen Galatea vase firstly was really confused. I can explain the reason. Our Galatea vase does not looks like a mediocre part of interior.

It looks like something bought or maybe stolen from museum.

And that is why it is the best choice if you want to make your interior especial!

Such a thing in your home will also definitely become your property and heritage for many generations.
