»You don't become an artist - it's a state of being«
Dr Cordula Sachse-Seeboth, alias Coeur Solaire, is a contemporary artist living in the heart of Germany. She not only regards medicine as art, which she practises daily in her own medical practice in Bad Lauterberg. For her, art has been "a kind of state of being" since childhood: "You don't become an artist - it's a state of being".
She transforms the colourful kaleidoscope of her personal dreamscapes into objects that can be seen by everyone, into audible experiences and readable works.
Painting enables her to visualise her visual imagination for the outside world. The colour gradients and representations born of surrealism are transformed onto canvas, paper, wood or glass. Combinations of seemingly contradictory worlds are united in one symbol. She uses oil pastels, encaustic, acrylic or plaster - solo or in combination. For her, photography is a medium for presenting the familiar in a new light.
The artist exhibits some of her works on the premises of her doctor's surgery, so they are accessible to the public. As part of the charity event "Courage instead of melancholy. Time out in difficult times" in Bad Lauterberg in March 2022, her work "Peace" (60cm x 60cm, wax on canvas) was auctioned off for a good cause.
She developed the cover and co-designed the text layout for her thriller "Rapidot", published in 2016, and designed the cover herself for the screenplay "Shifted", published in 2023.
Aware that she is not just playing with colours, words and sounds to pass the time, aware that she is a valuable producer, she leaves the world with creative creations that convey a good mood and positive messages. Last but not least, her works are also created for charitable organisations.
