Stormy day-

* People walking around Lexington Avenue after tedious working ours, suddenly sky changes to yellow to dark
and suddenly pouring rain! After the brief shower we decided have a cup of Hazelnut coffee to comfort.

* This painting is physically inspired by stormy day or rainy day situation but ultimately and mentally looking for
the most positive stage of energy itself only human being can pursue and generate-
I am not an impressionist artist or realism artist or abstract artist-I am just an artist looking for a source of power-
that connects my visual surroundings and a glimpse of idea into ultimate art form, but my study has been always
evolving with several different form-but my idea of pursuing the energy is always same.

Chin H Shin is a contemporary painter based in the United States, whose artistic focus in the past five years has been dedicated to capturing the essence of New York Cityscapes. Inspired by the bustling streets of Manhattan, Shin immerses himself in the rich tapestry of culture, history, music, and cinema that defines the city. Drawing from this wealth of inspiration, he endeavors to translate the vibrancy of daily life into a visual poetry that resonates with viewers.

At the heart of Shin's artistic vision is a quest for profound mental satisfaction, manifested through the interplay of light and color in his paintings. For him, light symbolizes hope for the future, infusing his work with a sense of optimism and possibility. His goal is to redefine expressionism, using all available materials, techniques, and subjects as conduits for his artistic exploration.

With a Master of Art Degree from Long Island University, Shin is deeply entrenched in the artistic community, with affiliations including the Oil Painters of America, the American Society of Marine Artists, and the Portrait Society of America. He also serves as a judge for the Bold Brush International Art Competition, contributing to the recognition and celebration of excellence in the field of painting.

As Shin continues on his artistic journey, he remains excited about the possibilities that lie ahead. With each brushstroke, he endeavors to push the boundaries of his craft, exploring new avenues of expression and inviting viewers to embark on a visual voyage through his evocative and dynamic compositions.
