This sculpture was inspired by an imaginary fictional character from the futuristic action film Mad Max. The assembled robot car sculpture is created from a variety of rusty metal and found vintage, recycled and upcycled objects, including antique Kodak folding camera, used tin cans, the wheels from antique child's toy and silver plated ustensiles. This sculpture has an original old time patina and complete antique finish. The care with which I create my characters gives them, despite their physical immobility, an engaging personality. My pop art steampunk sculpture merges human and mechanical characteristics to give this everlasting piece a unique personality.
