SCULPTURE "LYNX" Creative workshop BearStone presents to your attention a new sculpture "Lynx". The lynx is a very interesting animal, it has very sharp eyesight, excellent sense of smell, so it is free to hunt at dusk, catching the smallest reflections on objects. There is even a constellation called the lynx. A cluster of small stars is hard to see and you need to have "trot" vision to see it with the naked eye. Before starting work, we study the object of creative claims, and focus on the features and differences of the animal. For example, it is generally accepted that the Russian word lynx is from the Proto-Slavic rysь, which means red. We reflected this knowledge on the tinting of one of the three cast sculptures. The circulation of this sculpture is exclusive and there are only three copies of the lynx in different tones. Tonings are made in classic bronze, in metal and decorative tinting, which is close to the natural color of the animal. What I would like to notice bronze and metal tints are additionally fixed with varnish, and acrylic tints are fixed with waxing (waxing followed by light polishing), which gives an incomparable, chic effect, as you can see for yourself by examining the sculpture. The lynx is a unique animal and there is not a single confirmed case of an attack on a person. In addition, it can be tamed and can even be given into hands. Its purr is similar to the work of a rather big electric motor.
