Hello and welcome to the Late Summer exhibition
This exhibition features completely new work which Angelika developed over the past months as part of a commission and is part of an outdoor exhibition taking part at Blondin Park, West London, from 20 August 2023.
For the first time Angelika has seemingly married her two main processes; in the presented work we can see her colourful and temperamental drawings meeting here extensive documentary photography. Mixing styles and techniques has been very much part of Angelika's art making process as she looks at different ways of looking at the world around us and transforms these impressions into colourful art pieces; each seemingly unique in their expression and style while not loosing her signature touch.
The result is a unique set of colourful limited edition prints.

Biography
Since her early childhood Angelika’s life has been marked by change. Amongst many influences, the most important was her upbringing in Brazil.
The country's light, colours, vibrancy and lively culture has left a strong impression on her and influenced Angelika’s sense of aesthetics, love for experiential colour schemes and sensual movement.
Later in life Angelika refined her professional experiences such as working in graphic design and publishing, photography and illustration with training at the renowned London universities, the LCP, The SLADE School of Arts and Roehampton University.
Unique in their kind, Angelika’s work seduces with a kind of pleasing tension while maintaining an intuitive sense of harmony.
Since 2009 Angelika has successfully exhibited and sold her work in Brazil, Germany and the UK.
Wherever Angelika’s work is shown and regardless whether it is in a group or solo show, her unique approach to the use of colour and form attracts great interest and attention.

Camberwell Arts Festival 2023
This was the first year I took part in Camberwell Arts Festival and was pleased to see that my work raised as much attention as it usually did in London's West during BEAT, the official Borough of Ealing Arts Trail.
The Camberwell Arts Festival took place on the weekend of the 17 and 18 June 2023 and I showed a selection of my work at the Open Studios at Vanguard Court Studios, where we received many visitors over the two days.
