Alina Chalaya, Emerging artist

Based in St. Petersburg. Born 1992

Among the numerous group exhibitions she has participated in, it's worth mentioning the "Tretyakov Gallery, Talents of Russia" in July 2022 and "Pop-up Museum" in Moscow in 2022.

In 2022, Alina's work was awarded 2nd place in an abstract artwork competition at the "Talents of Russia" exhibition at the Tretyakov Gallery in July 2022.

Alina's works are held in collections in Germany, Switzerland, Cyprus, and the USA. Currently, she is working on a series of oil abstract landscapes inspired by the places she explored during expeditions, including the Swiss Alps, the shores of the Indian Ocean, rivers, and volcanoes in Kamchatka

In her works, the artist finds it crucial to strike a balance between emotional expression and figurative, recognizable images in order to leave the viewer in search of the key to unravel the mysteries, darkness, and light of our era
