"C’était le début de l’été. Les petits fruits rouges qu’elle adorait depuis l’enfance brillaient sous les rayons du soleil. Pareils aux gourmandises les plus sophistiquées, ils lui donnaient aussitôt, comme chaque année, l’irrésistible envie d’y goûter. Le seau oublié sous l’arbre fut donc rapidement rempli. Elle retira sa petite robe jaune à fines bretelles et s’installa à quelques mètres sur la chaise de jardin drapée d’une housse de coton. Et sous mon regard, elle se mit à savourer sa cueillette avec délice. Le temps des cerises était bien là."
