Zoltan Krizsan, a contemporary Hungarian[...]

Zoltan Krizsan, a contemporary Hungarian artist, approaches his creative endeavors with a distinctive focus on the deconstruction of concepts, evident in both his painting techniques and the exploration of the mind itself. Graduating from the painting department of the Hungarian University of Fine Arts in 2005, Zoltan embarked on a journey marked by ethereal and unique artworks that showcase his commitment to pushing artistic boundaries.

Zoltan Krizsan's artistic evolution encompasses a diverse range of mediums and techniques. Since 2004, he has been pioneering his own method of creating multiple layered glass artworks, employing various printing and coating techniques. In 2014, he established a glass painting studio in Budapest, a creative hub where his unique approach to art flourished. That same year, Zoltan participated in his first art fair in New York, showcasing his glass artworks in Manhattan and completing several pieces that found homes from Rome to Florida and New York.

Venturing into painting in New York in 2014, Zoltan Krizsan began working on a new oil painting series for 2015 in Long Island City. His dedication and talent were recognized when he was awarded the first prize by the World Art Foundation, specifically the Long Island City Arts Open in 2015.

From 2016 onward, Zoltan expanded his artistic repertoire to include the design and execution of architectural artworks. He played a pivotal role in developing comprehensive historical and contemporary architectural art concepts for one of Hungary's most representative projects in the Buda Castle. To facilitate his creative process, he established a purpose-built studio in 2021, marking the beginning of a new period in his fine art endeavors.

Zoltan Krizsan's artistic footprint extends beyond Hungary, with his paintings and glass artworks finding homes in various public and private collections both in his homeland and abroad.
