It depicts the head of a woman supported by a powerful and robust hand, preventing her from falling and shattering on the ground. This head represents womanhood in all its beauty, as well as the love she holds for man and her children, unconditionally.
The hand, symbolizing man and his strength, crumbles, cracks, deteriorates, but never loses its will to protect, support, and possess the woman, despite its condition. However, it is supported by the hands of the woman, representing the strength and will that is uniquely hers! She doesn't need to be as strong as the man's hand; on the contrary, she is strong enough to prevent the pillar of their relationship from collapsing.
I portray this relationship as the pillar of love, but the artwork surely holds interpretations that escape my artist's perception.
