This is the first piece from the "Berlin of the Future" series. It marked the beginning of our "journey" to Berlin. The thing is, I took the first batch of paintings with me as it happened; these paintings weren't intended for Berlin. We all know how much the popularity of paintings depends on the location. And we deliberately created this series because both my co-author, Pavel Khodorovich, and I love Berlin for its emotions and vibes, so we decisively made this series.

Specifically, this piece cleverly portrays the leisurely and comically outdated lifestyle of Berliners. Ironically, despite being culturally enriched and modern people, they often don't renovate in modern styles, pay homage to classics, boil tea in cast iron kettles, and hold onto old technology. This piece showcases irony, where in the Berlin of the future, a robot is seen drinking tea in an old German kitchen. By the way, robots are often featured in this series not only to highlight the contrast with modernity but also as a nod to the fluidity of gender, which is often openly displayed at local pride events.

Size: 45*45 cm
