I started drawing after forced emigration from Ukraine to Belgium. There was a lot of time and I was given my first watercolor on April 2, 2022. I started trying myself in different styles, realism, portraits, landscapes. But what I had inside could only be expressed by abstraction.
I fell in love with her. You never know the end result. The feeling that watercolor is created by itself, and I am using its hands.
I tried acrylic, but it is heavy for me. Watercolor, like a woman, can be painted dry, but add a little water (love) and it opens up. Flows, mixes colors, can be unpredictable and changing.
I added watercolor graphite to my works and this is my second love. Its natural colors are simply amazing. You can paint dry, you can paint wet, or you can combine them and get incredible results.
