Stéphane Foucaud was born in Paris in 1971, yet it was the shores of Yam Island in New Caledonia that witnessed his upbringing. This land, a realm still ripe for demystification, became the crucible in which Foucaud Stéphane's artistic identity flourished. His work, a tapestry interwoven with myths and syncretisms, draws nourishment from this unique backdrop. Immersed in the tribal environment of his youth, Stéphane's journey became an indelible wellspring for his artistic expression.
