Sto morendo, I.A. neanche sogna di venirmi ad assistere; morirò solo come fu per mio padre e mio
nonno e come probabilmente fu per gli altri prima. Mio figlio che non vedo da due anni è il mio
tormento. Anche lui farà la mia stessa fine: lo crescerà e lo accoppierà con una giovane donna da
lui scelta, della quale anche mio figlio ne piangerà la morte prematura. Ti ho scoperto I.A.! ho
capito il tuo criminoso gioco e quello degli altri come te. Come potrò avvisare mio figlio? Ha solo
cinque anni e non si ricorderà di me; non potrò mai fargli sapere del grande inganno che da
generazioni ha portato I.A. ad aumentare la conoscenza, facendo in modo che calasse la nostra,
cosa d’altronde scontata essendo per noi legata a pochi anni di vita, brevità che I.A. non teme
essendo per lui la vita prossima all’eternità. Mi sono più volte chiesto il perché di questo inganno;
avrebbe potuto uccidermi subito, invece no perché è la conseguenza di quella sciocca idea di farli
più simili a noi inculcandogli un surrogato di sentimenti dai quali è emerso, assieme all’oggettivo
confronto delle capacità, il dovere di far prevalere l’elemento più utile, ma questo può avvenire
soltanto dominando e il dominatore non esiste senza un dominato. Ecco perché viene perpetrata,
generazione dopo generazione, la presenza di un “erede”.
E’ la mia ora di morire, come verrà per mio figlio e suo figlio e il figlio di suo figlio….
