Original Artwork refers to any work that is considered authentic and not a copy or imitation of the original works of an artist. Original artwork can be any type of painting, sculpture, performance, or other media. There are many types of original media. Mixed media includes oil, acrylic, and watercolor paintings. For workshop paintings that bear evidence of master craftsmanship, this attribution must be further qualified. While they may be less valuable for different reasons, reproductions and copies have had a tremendous impact on our experience. They reach a greater audience than originals and act as a tonic against commodification. Original Artwork could also refer to the first work, which is always preceding all others. It could also refer to a prototype or a model from which other works can be made. Each work bears great similarities to the original.

Digital artist and storyteller Ken Grzesik does the unthinkable by telling the real behind the scenes story of The Real SCF Story.
It was one of those days during the Covid pandemic when everything was closed. President Donald Trump had recently suggested injecting chlorine bleach to a national television audience. One could only imagine what was really going on.
Meanwhile I was relaxing. A song was playing. It was Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite by the Beatles.
"K & H assures the public their production will be second to none."
That line of lyric gave me an idea.
"And of course Henry the horse dances the waltz."
The idea expanded. Seize the moment. Move forward. Set a course. That's what I did. What followed was some pretty complicated stuff in the creation of The Real SCF Story.
Anyway that's my story and I may stick to it.

I think it's possible that beauty can save the world. Art can be life as life can be art. Both can be beautiful if given a chance.My imagery is built around a concept. After a central idea is established I explore possibilities within a set of creative and aesthetic parameters. From my perspective visual art is idea, expression, experience and process fused to create a perceptual synergy.
Nature has always played an important role in my art. In the late seventies and early eighties it was the focal point of several commissioned installations in Seattle and Chicago. During the next two decades or so landscape painting and drawing were my primary areas of interest. The work was exhibited in minor venues in Washington and Hawaii.
It was in 2005 when I bought my first computer and digital camera. The initial attraction was the speed that imagery could be produced. It was exciting to work at the speed of idea where the time span between concept and image was short. What followed has been a nonstop process of photography and editing. Presented here is an assortment of images that are a visual record of that activity.
