Scott Betz received the BFA from University of Evansville, Indiana, Masters of Science at Indiana State University and Masters of Fine Art at University of Tennessee. He later studied at the Alliance Francaise in Paris, France where he had his first professional solo exhibition at the Fondacion des Etats Unis (United States Foundation Paris). Since then, his work has been exhibited in Japan, Korea, Australia, Austria, France, Lithuania, Belgium, Finland, Sweden, the United Arab Emirates, and throughout the US. He has been included in a book on international printmaking entitled “Printmaking at the Edge” which led to his curation of 35 international printmakers in a project entitled “Further…” resulting in the recent focus at the Dalarnas Museum in Sweden for the Falun Print Triennial. He is also President of the national United States organization “Foundations in Art: Theory and Education”
