My work is a form of meditation; an opportunity to express myself through improvisation. The outcome is always influenced by my mood, movements, surroundings and ongoing search for artistic freedom. I play with colours, materials, scale and form, whilst searching for equilibrium. I invite the viewer to interpret my work from their own unique perspective, by exploring and getting lost in the layers of details.

Born in 1987 in France, Romain Neist Fontaine has always been surrounded
by art throughout his life. He draws since his childhood
then discovers "graffiti" during his adolescence, it then became
a passion that never disappeared.
After having lived for 10 years in London, he is now
based in the south of France, where he continues to develop his style
which has never ceased to evolve over the years. Self-taught,
he was never afraid of new techniques, but also
of increasing the size of his works. Architecture, nature;
music, energies but also color are his main
source of inspiration. Most of the time, he improvises his work
because it is for him, the best way to express his feelings;
it gives him a feeling of freedom but also a source
problems he enjoys solving. His work is intended
to be interpreted subjectively. His art is inspired by nature, the urban, music or by the material itself that he uses. His works are filled with details that
can endlessly intrigue.
