Olga Afanasyadi lives and works in Saint Petersburg. She has experience with a personal exhibition at Molbert Gallery in 2020 ("Natural Forms: Impressions and Concepts", Saint Petersburg). Among her numerous group exhibitions, notable participations include Carouselle du Louvre at ArtEspaces (Belgium), WorldArtDubai (CrisolArtGallery, Spain), Flower Power (Netherlands, Paris, Brussels), and ArtEspaces. Currently, she is working on paintings for the Context Art Miami exhibition in 2023. She collaborates with various galleries in Russia (Artzip, Molbert Gallery) and abroad (Art Voyage Gallery, Switzerland, Art Espaces, Belgium, and Crisolart Gallery, Spain).

"In my art, I explore nature and its forms, as well as the energetic processes and connections between them. In my understanding, nature is a common home for all, a medium in which every object is integrated in its own way. This integration is the subject of my constant interest." In different series of works, using various mediums and experimenting with them, the artist investigates the habitat of natural forms found in the northern part of Russia - on the Gulf of Finland and its adjacent territories. Besides canvas and acrylic paints, she uses acrylic, sand, coffee, wood, textiles, stones, minerals, and branches to organize all these objects in compositions, aiming to convey her visual, tactile, and intellectual experience of interacting with nature, its diverse forms, living textures, and unique energy as accurately and in detail as possible. Olga follows the principles of eco-friendly art and recycling, using packaging materials and used items in her work, minimizing her ecological footprint in both her life and work."
