The birth of a new oil painting on canvas always gives a lot of positive emotions. Today it is a still life in pastel colours with a crystal vase, dried flowers, apples and a linen towel. The facets of the vase play with their brilliance, bathed in the rays of soft daylight. The juicy fruit, on the other hand, attracts attention with its richness and saturation of colour. A realistic still life that will always be relevant. A classic, vintage composition that is rarely seen these days.

Olena Kucher is a Ukrainian artist who lives in a small town in Ukraine. She inherited her interest in painting from her artist father. From an early age she was fascinated by the game of brush and paint.
Her realistic oil paintings demonstrate a high level of craftsmanship. The vintage and antique themes of her still life paintings are of great interest to the public.
Olena is inspired by the works of 17th century Dutch painters. That is why oil is her favourite medium. She prefers to use noble and muted colours on the palette. The paintings are painted from life. She uses oil paints with natural pigments. Only cotton canvases are preferred.
Elena has an art education. She is a participant in many art shows and art events. Currently works in her private studio.
Her authentic paintings have already added to many private collections of art lovers.

Technique of painting - author's. Layers of paint of medium density. The edges of the painting are painted in colour in accordance with the image on the canvas. Varnish for the top coat was used.
