I was inspired by the beautiful, sunny, warm, autumn day in the park, when the leaves on the trees were shining so brightly almost like the last time before the winter came.
The landscape is painted in impasto style. There are over ten layers of paint that give the artwork depth and intensity. The colorful surface of different textures brings the painting to life.

I,Olga Krivcun born in the southern Ukraine,1967. There I got my first education - teacher of English and German. For 15 years I had been working at the University as a teacher of English. I like my profession, but painting is always my passion. In 2004 my family resettled to Germany.
In 2011 I completed my formal education in art, having graduated from the Osnabrück University. Now I work as a teacher of arts at the art school in Nordhorn, where I assist the talented kids to create their first masterpieces. Nevertheless I find enough time for my own art creations
The theme “Flowers” is an everlasting source of inspiration for me. I believe in the endless power of beauty and brightness. Many colours of nature fill my life with light, energy and love. I’d like to convey these feelings of inspiration to people in my painting. My favourite art styles are Expressionism and Abstraction. They help me to express my emotions through the colours on the canvas, where they dominate over the form of the object; and spiritual content - over the formal reality. My aim is to find the balance between the exact form and abstract elements, luxurious colours and harmony. I prefer using the basic materials such as oil and canvas to capture my vision of the world.
