Born in 1966, Nathalie Leverger spent her childhood in Brittany with parents who loved the sea and were travelers. She learned about textile techniques from a seamstress grandmother and a quilter aunt.

Graduated in 1989 from AUDENCIA, she discovered painting in 2000 by chance. a box of oils that we give him for Christmas. If the revelation is immediate, it will take her 3 years to question her professional situation and devote herself exclusively to art.

From 2003 to 2011, she paints and sets up her first studio in her house in Verneuil on Seine (78). Then it's all a matter of work and meetings, as with Xavier Carrère Master glassmaker his first gallery owner (2007/2011), exhibits at the art fairs of Marseille or Le Mans, which will open the doors of several galleries in France to disseminate his painting (Galerie du Lezard in Aix en Provence, BJ Art Gallery in Paris, Carré d'Artistes).

Moving in 2011 to Mantes la Jolie (78), the workshop expanded, giving it the possibility of painting large formats.

In 2011, she met the poet Paule-Elisabeth Oddero, with whom she collaborates regularly (3 collections: Birds, Lucioles, Pêcheries and several object books). This is decisive in her search for meaning and delicacy for her artistic practice, which she then expands to paper and textile volumes.

In 2013 and 2014, personal exhibitions took her to India, Dubai and Sao Paulo, enriching her memories from which she draws her inspiration.

In 2015, she ceased her collaboration with Carré d'Artistes (ON THE ROAD, abstract landscapes), in order to favor the exhibition of his work in other more institutional, or more intimate, places, in line with the start of the paper and textile installations ("Poètes vos papiers » Laarkirchen Paper Museum, Austria, 2016 or La Casa del Cable, Javea, Spain, 2018)

In 2017, his work is permanently exhibited in Paris at Isabelle Laverny.

< p>For 16 years, she has tackled the themes of the highway (ON THE ROAD), childhood (LA COUR D'ECOLE), motherhood (UN OISEAU UNE CAGE), frustration (L'APARTEMENT ), the intimate (FIREFLIES), the quest for happiness (A BEAUTIFUL LIFE, THE NEW FRIENDS), the landscape (FISH, IN THE MARGIN, THE NEW HORIZONS, OUESSANT, HERE THE GRASS IS GREENER, BLACKBLUE)

She moved to Lyon in 2018, took over different workshops, and settled in an intimate place near Barbe Island. A new landscape presents itself to her every day. Since 2022, she has focused on flowers and nature (JARDINS SECRETS) which lead her to new mediums such as blown glass or video.
