I was working on a project for an exhibition. I had a life full of hopes and plans, but now there is a war in my country, russia invaded our territory. I stay in Kyiv and continue to paint the works that, I depict simple human dreams, how everything will be, when peace comes.
I believe that with our dreams we materialize the future, it will be the way I create it. When the sirens are wailing, I don't run to the bomb shelter, I keep drawing, it saves me, gives me the strength to resist the destruction.
Dutch acrylic paints Amsterdam and Italian cotton canvas tm Unico were used in a work. Finished by satin varnish. The sides of the painting are covered with acrylic. Artwork is signed in front/back and have authors certificate.

Nataliya Bagatskaya is a contemporary Ukrainian painter. She has always been fascinated by the color and form. By combining them together, she gets unlimited possibilities for creating art. Some of her paintings are impulsive, where inner emotion captures her brush, while others are trips that even surprises the artist.
With her paintings, Bagatskaya tries to express how she sees the world, and on an emotional level to communicate with the viewer, hoping to fix the moment on the canvas. Her style has the basis of realism, adding surrealism or elements of the style of cubism, or even creating a mystical environment around realistic objects. In her works there is a series of still lives - as a "replica" on the subject of Dutch and English classical still-life with the accompanying attributes: vases, glasses, fruits and flowers that appear on a deep dark background. All these objects and environments acquire their aura, glow, giving the viewer a kind of mystical realism.
Nataliya Bagatskaya was born in 1967, in Ukraine. She is a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine.
