The Bighorn sheep are plentiful in this area, but they blend in so well that you might miss them! I once saw a group of them near the entrance to 'Valley of Fire' state park. Then a bus full of tourists pulled up. I thought perhaps they were stopping to photograph the wildlife, but no. They just took pictures of each other in front of the sign! They missed the bighorn completely!
