My name is Dr. Maria Weiss. I have been living in Odenthal, North Rhine-Westphalia for about 3 years.

I was born in Zagreb (Croatia) in 1947 and have lived in Germany since 1970.

After studying biochemistry, I received my doctorate at the University of Cologne (1975). .

I have been in early retirement due to illness since July 2003. I used this freedom to pursue my interest in visual arts, which I have had since my youth.

 In this context, I intensified my painting on an autodidactic basis in various styles and techniques and wrote and illustrated a children's book.< /p>

So far I have painted around 300 pictures, but none of them have been shown to the public or applied for an exhibition.
