My pictorial sensitivity was awakened from my childhood by a taste for shapes and color.
Around ten years ago I became interested in the great masters of contemporary art and I knew where I wanted to head.
From my first paintings, I work with powerful colors for the benefit of a painting of a lyrical gesture.
Abstraction will take over my pictorial choices, releasing my emotions like an instant snapshot. I will paint like this for several years using flat areas with a knife to support my creations.
At the end of 2023 I abandon this material a little and decide to work on a more fluid painting using large brushes; I change my color palette in favor of muted and soothing tones.
These new shades arouse in me a true poetic reflection which gradually leads me towards the world of light. figurative abstraction.
