This artwork is created from pure experimentation. It all started with a single line, accidentally formed by a falling shadow from a cloth thrown onto a sheet of fabric. This line resembled the profile of a fighting dragon and some rocks near. And then everything drew itself.
Salvador Dali created his artworks on the border between sleep and reality, here is about the same case. As a texture fan, every artwork is an invention, i make some new graphic experiments and even I don't know what the result will be. So my artworks cannot be copied and repeated even by me.

Ink

A strongly tinted liquid or paste that is used to mark paper or other printable materials. The design is done manually with a slab, feather, brush, or straightener.

Painting Pastel

Pastel is an instrument widely used in plastic arts. Taking the form of a colored plastic stick, it is composed of pigments, a filler (chalk or plaster) and a binder (gum arabic, oil, wax). We mainly distinguish fatty pastels (oil or wax), dry pastels, whether soft or hard. Invented in Europe at the end of the 15th century, this tool was very quickly used by great portrait painters of French royalty, such as Charles Le Brun, Rosalba Carriera, Jean Siméon Chardin or Maurice Quentin de La Tour, who will be considered the "Prince of pastellists", thanks to a method of fixation of which only he knew the secret.

Pastel

Drawing made with a colored stick. It consists of pigments, a charge and a binder. A distinction is made between dry pastels (soft or hard) and fatty pastels (oil or wax).

Surrealism

Maria Shedrina, a contemporary Russian artist, was born in 1975 in Novorossiysk, a small town nestled along the Black Sea. Maria's artistic journey began in her formative years, as she attended art school in 1988 before furthering her education at an Art university in 1997. Following her studies, Maria spent nearly two decades working as a graphic designer, honing her skills and cultivating her creative vision.

Driven by her deeply emotional nature, Maria found solace and expression in the art of expressionism. She is drawn to experimentation, viewing it as a pathway to self-development and artistic innovation. This inclination towards exploration has led Maria to develop unique techniques, resulting in a diverse and unconventional body of work.

As a true romantic at heart, Maria's artistic endeavors are fueled by her unwavering belief in the transformative power of beauty. She sees beauty as a force capable of saving the world, infusing her creations with a sense of optimism and wonder.
