A peacock painted in the style of Kerala murals. Peacocks are not only gracious and beautiful, but also favorite birds of Lord Krishna in His Vrindavana pastimes. In the iconography of India, Krishna always wears one or multiple peacock feathers, as do many Vishnu forms. During the hot season Deities in the temples are fanned with elaborate peacock feather fans.

I am a France-based artist inspired by the sacred arts of India. After immersing myself in the philosophy and culture of India for many years through volunteering in diverse cultural projects across Europe, I ventured to India itself to personally experience its vibrant culture. Since 2020, I have been working in various visual projects presenting Indian culture. Currently, my primary focus lies in learning India's sacred arts through masterclasses and workshops led by traditional artists who have preserved their craft for generations. Additionally, I continuously pursue learning in the foundational principles of art as taught in Western art education. At times, there appears to be a significant divergence between Western-style contemporary art and diverse traditional art forms, such as those found in India. However, I firmly believe that contemporary artists can glean invaluable lessons from various traditional and folk art styles. My ultimate aspiration is to create artworks that draw inspiration from timeless sacred art, infusing them with meaning and relevance for the modern world.
