Artistic creation is for me the best way to escape from material reality and calm my anxieties.
I consider myself semi-autodidact. At the age of 18, I started a training in applied arts which I was forced to abandon at the end of the first year to enter the world of work. I worked in various jobs before feeling pushed, in 2021, to return to my lifelong passion.
I use graphite pencil and colored pencils (Faber Castel polychromos ).
I have a predilection for portraits (human and animal) that I create from photos. I like restrained emotions, intense and deep looks. I seek to capture the soul of the subject, to connect to their internal energy. I want to celebrate the beauty and fragility of beings and of the world
