Latifa El Hachem had this passion for art since she was a child. She used to draw on all materials she could find, paper, fabric, wood, and glass.

At the age of 17, she got married. Seven years later, at the age of 24, her husband passed away during the Lebanese war, leaving her alone without any income or fortune, where she found herself obliged to go work to raise her two daughters and gain their living.

During this period, while the evening she attended a night school to continue her studies, she worked in different fields, moving from a real estate office to a trading company to an Insurance company. She studied Book Keeping, Business English, and at the Saints Coeurs Institution, she studied Art Plastic to continue by correspondence, Ecole des Beaux-Arts - La Rochelle, France (distance studies).

After working at a Language Center as an Administrator for several years, she discovered that the only thing she enjoys doing is art. She signed her resignation and started her atelier Latifa-Art in 2002.
In her atelier, the main component to work on was Pewter. The concept was to bring life to such cold, constant, and stable metal. Later, she started painting on wood, glass, and canvas.

Along with her atelier, she worked on different projects. She designed and executed giveaway gift items for banks and companies, participated in many exhibitions, and shared programs to empower women and encourage children to discover the creative minds they have.

Beauty is her inspiration; history is her inspiration. Everything that catches her eyes can be an inspiration. For her, painting is a way of communication and expressing herself.

Also, sure enough, her inspirations allow for a handmade creation to adorn every collector's interior. Her favorite themes: Abstract, Landscape, Human, Religious, and Art for sale.
