Feeling of water and light
I am a watercolor artist from Kyiv. Through my works I strive to tell about the beautiful world around me, to share with others what I feel and love.
Watercolor is mobile and unpredictable, it fascinates me to give it freedom on the sheet and let it be my co-author. The brightness and transparency of watercolors are well suited for conveying emotions and feelings, which is why I chose this material. In my art I strive to find a balance between depicting recognizable forms and abstraction, between soft shimmers of free fillings and bright thick accents. Painting sounds like music to me, and in each watercolor study I want to convey the melody of the moment.
Flowers and plants inspire me a lot. They change every moment: a new flower blooms, the shade of the petals becomes different.... They are so delicate, fragile and yet full of strength and life. I love to observe and reflect this marvelous life in my paintings. Painting a blossoming flower, it is as if I am catching a moment of eternity on my sheet.
I also had an architectural education, maybe that's why I like to draw cities, buildings and architectural details.I was a friend of Royal Talens brand and represented them as an artist at the exhibition "World of Stationery" in Kiev. In 2017-19 I hold master classes in Ukraine and teach in art studios.
My watercolor paintings have found their way into various private collections around the world, from USA to UK, Israel, France and other countries.

Published book with my illustrations
Good news, friends! The book for which I painted watercolor illustrations was published, "The Best Time", by Marina Romanovich. The book is a literary diary of the author's life path, and its concept says that the best time is now. Always just now. Everything else is the treasures of our memory, but this is already the past. The book contains 22 of my watercolor paintings - 11 large per page and 11 small ones that complement the text. Works from this series are available for purchase, you can find them in the shop section "Book Best Time"

Watercolor demonstration at the exhibition of botanical art in Kyiv, 2019
In the spring of 2019, I was invited to give a master class as part of an exhibition of botanical art in the Kiev Botanical Garden. Of course, I am not working in the style of classical botanical art. The theme of my demo was how to transform a flower image based on photoreference to convey emotion and your vision, not just the authentic look of the plant.

My lessons at the school "Fantasy room"
During 2017-2018 I taught watercolor sketching at the international school "Fantasy room". I had small groups of 5-12 students and with each group we went through 8 different stories and topics. Newcomers often came to my lessons and my task was to make them fall in love with watercolor, as well as teach a variety of basic techniques so that in the future a person could reveal himself in creativity, and not only imitate my watercolor style. The photo on the left shows the work of my students, on the photo on the right - the atmosphere of the studio :)

Demo at the exhibition "World of Stationery", Kyiv, 2018
I was a friend of the Royal Talens brand and represented them as an artist at the World of Stationery exhibition in Kyiv. At this exhibition I presented new colors in the watercolor palette "Van Gogh" by Royal Talens. It was an amazing experience! I showed the features of my painting technique, and talked about new colors and how they can be used in artwork. In the foreground of the photo, you can see a sketchbook of my watercolors. Flowers and architecture are my two favorite themes!
