Original Artwork refers to any work that is considered authentic and not a copy or imitation of the original works of an artist. Original artwork can be any type of painting, sculpture, performance, or other media. There are many types of original media. Mixed media includes oil, acrylic, and watercolor paintings. For workshop paintings that bear evidence of master craftsmanship, this attribution must be further qualified. While they may be less valuable for different reasons, reproductions and copies have had a tremendous impact on our experience. They reach a greater audience than originals and act as a tonic against commodification. Original Artwork could also refer to the first work, which is always preceding all others. I achieved a Fine Art Bachelors Honours degree and Masters degree from the University of Westminster in London UK. I have been exhibiting in the UK since 1996.

The key artists who have influenced my work were those of the Modernist era. I love the work of artists such as Matisse, Juan Gris and George Gleizes, to name but a few. They were audacious and approach the creation of art with vigour and fun. The colours, shapes and angles in their work play with our perceptions but keep us transfixed. I want to recreate the playfulness and vibrancy in my work, interconnecting sharp angles with soft curves and the use of a multitude of colours.I feel creating art is like a love affair, it is driven by desire, passion and a consistent longing.

My work is currently exhibited in several online platforms but I have also exhibited and sold work in galleries and art fairs across the UK. I have collectors across the globe from the UK and Europe to The USA and as far afield as Japan and South Korea.
