My research and production is focused on the photographic record of everyday life that can be modified, highlighted and hybridized through digital manipulation. This manipulation involves everything from simple enhancement of colors, nuances and tones to layering of layers that will modify the original image. Then, the look of the capture and the look that analyzes the possibilities of interferences on the registered image are worked. My production matches a sample of analog and digital photographic images. Analog photographs are reworked in a photo lab for digital work.

The Kiss research and production is focused on the photographic record of everyday life that can be modified, highlighted, and hybridized through digital manipulation. This manipulation involves everything from the simple enhancement of colors, nuances, and tones to the layering of layers that will modify the original image. Then, the look of the capture and the look that analyzes the possibilities of interferences on the registered image is worked. Her production matches a sample of analog and digital photographic images. Analog photographs are reworked in a photo lab for digital work.

For example, from a distance, we see White complexion, Black complexion, Brown complexion, or Red complexion. When we look closer, we start to notice the blues, pinks, yellows, purples, and all the subtle nuances ranging from muted to intense mixtures, warm and cool tones. It’s just like looking at a computer image. If you reduce or scale down a picture to a smaller size, the picture will get as fine and detailed as possible. But enlarge it and you will see big squares of pixels.
